Missions

The Church Planting Movement (CPM) is the thrust of Calvary Miri’s Mission to reach our world. We believe in the Great Commission, in Christ’s mandate to Go & Make Disciples of all nations. We believe the key to reaching our world is planting churches – not merely in name and bricks and mortar – but by one to one evangelism, discipleship, cell planting, and establishing Christian communities across the world. Starting here, starting in Miri, Sarawak; to plant churches that will plant churches.

Our founding church, Victory Family Centre, Singapore (formerly Calvary Charismatic Centre) multiplied itself globally to about 10,000 churches, in 85 countries. It is a living answer to the question: “What could one church do if it is focused on missions”. Join us and be part of a great mission movement.

Prayer

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Take time away from your busyness, quiet your spirit and seek God and pray to know Him better. We believe that there’s tremendous power in prayer. Prayer Changes Things! In prayer, we come to understand His plans and purposes for our lives. In prayer, we make our petitions known to Him. In prayer, we recognise that He is not just our King, he is our closest friend.

We believe in the power of corporate prayer. Join us for prayer meetings on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings! (Keep a lookout for further announcements on our calendar!)

Infinite Youth

We believe in the younger generation. We believe in giving them opportunities to fellowship. We believe in giving them opportunities to serve. We believe their potential is infinite in God.

If you’re a teenager, we invite you to join us! We promise you fun, fellowship, food, and the word of God.

Kindergarten

In 2011, Tadika de Star (Tadika Victory) opened its doors in Tudan, Miri and Sungai Plan, Bintulu. With a vision to provide a solid early education to those who can’t afford it, our kindergartens started humbly, running primarily on donations and the time of volunteers.

Today, our kindergartens in Tudan and Sungai Plan have grown. Our dream is to ensure every longhouse has access to a kindergarten.

Providing access to early education is one of the most important things we can do to ensure equality. We believe that every child should be given equal opportunity to be successful. Do you?

Christian Development Program (CDP)

We aim not to just evangelise, we aim to disciple. To help our believers grow, we offer Life in the Word (LIW) classes, opportunities to be involved in ministry, and encourage discipleship for personal development.

The Christian Development Program isn’t something to just talk about. It’s something for you to be involved in.
